George Lucas is planning on making an animated version of his movie Star Wars for theaters and then that will be followed by a TV series in the autumn.

“I felt there were a lot more stories left to tell,” creator George Lucas said. “I was eager to start telling some of them through animation.”

Dude, just stop. The only reason why anyone put up with episodes 1-3 (I’m not talking about the first three movies; A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, The Return of the Jedi– because those were sweet) is because we had to finish the series no matter how much crap Lucas threw into it (and did), just to be able to say we saw it.

However, now that its done, just move on man, we don’t want/need to see an animated version and MUCH LESS a TV series. Star Wars was sweet for its time but its over. Stop trying to milk it for all the money you can get out of it, you’re just ruining it for the rest of us. Leave Star Wars alone.
