The Final Stretch

Wow, I can’t believe how fast time has gone by. The wedding is coming up real quick and I couldn’t be happier. Things are going real good in our lives and we are really happy that all this painful wedding planning is going to be coming to an end. We’re just ready and looking forward to being married and starting off our new lives– together.

The Final Countdown

In other news, Sarah and I recently purchased a new home! We’re really happy about that. We figured now would be a good time to buy, seeing as to how the market has really dropped since recent years. The home has a real nice 3 bedroom basement apartment so we are going to be looking for people to rent it within a month or so. I’ll make a post later with more details.

And on a more personal mostly for journal purposes note, Sean left on his mission to Merida, Mexico and went into the MTC a couple of weeks ago. It just so happens that hes serving in the same exact mission that my dad served in years ago and is also real close to Cancun (its part of the same mission) where Sarah and I are going to be spending our honeymoon.

Sean takes off!

Man I miss that kid and couldn’t be more proud of him. I love him and wish him the best. I have so much respect for what he’s doing. Leaving on a mission was hard, but I can’t imagine having to do it at this point in life, especially under the circumstances he was in. That takes spiritual guts. Thats faith. He will without a doubt be in my prayers and the prayers of many during the course of these next two years. We love you man, echa a todo el mundo en el agua!

More updates and photos coming soon, stay tuned!
